You need to be a true Erasmus student

Young, adventurous, enthusastic and, above all, corageous girls are our three Incoming Erasmus+ students. In spite of the terrible news they were listening  and watching in their countries about the city they had chosen as their Erasmus Mobility destination, they went on with their plan and landed in Alicante during the course of “Gota fría”.

Arriving in the flooded city of Orihuela was their first great adventure. The second one, starting their Spanish classes when the School is still closed. The cafetería in the Campus of Las Salesas (Miguel Hernández University) becomes their classroom for the first Spanish classes.

Students of the EASDO accept to start with the Buddy program before the school year begins. They can’t give our Erasmus incoming students a tour around the School nor introduce them to their professors or classmates but they  are organizing activities  for  them.

On Tuesday they walked around Elche, visiting places such as its famous Palm grove, the old Flour Mill, Altamira Castle, Santa María Basilica and Glorieta Square where they could watch the famous “Dama de Elche” bust. It was a nice day while waiting for academic life to start.
